Black Phoenix Frame

I used to get my frames made from Abstract House is London, but they now stop making the frames for order. I used to love those frames, but the Phoenix frame is exactly the same. It has a lovely subtle sheen, similar to eggshell with visible wood grain. The price is bang on as well. I will now order my future frames from here because the quality and packaging met my expectation.

I have used Skelf before because they offer a wide range of different frame styles in a good selection of sizes. It’s always difficult to get frames for school/university photos as with the mounts they are not a standard size, however, Skelf offer the sizes as standard and so are reasonable priced. Well packaged against damage and quick delivery. Can’t fault it.

Buying anything online can be a gamble but I have made a purchase from Skelf Frames previously so knew the quality was good. This frame and double mount, however, exceeded my expectations. As an artist myself, I am very picky about the frames I get locally, but typical me left it too late to get a Christmas gift framed professionally so had to do the job myself. Thank goodness for Skelf!! Really pleased with quality and service, I may even start using them more for my own artwork as it does work out cheaper.
